The Defender outdoor ceiling fan from Possini Euro Design is rated for use in damp locations. It comes in a matte black finish motor and eight koa finish blades with a 80-inch span. An energy-efficient LED light module is built into the bottom and covered by a polycarbonate lens that diffuses the lighting. A handheld remote control is included for operation.

    • Damp location rated large ceiling fan. Not suitable for locations in humid climates with salt water exposure. Minimum 9 ft. ceiling height required. May ship in multiple boxes and arrive at separate times.
    • 8" downrod included. Fan height is 14.75" from ceiling to blades (with 8" downrod). Fan height is 17.25" from ceiling to bottom of fan (with 8" downrod).

Fixing to have to replace it for a second time in a year

We have received two of these fans, and they have both stopped working in less than a year. Lamps plus sent us a replacement part but it is now doing the same thing and will not turn on.
