A Hot Tea Kettle

I purchased this tea kettle for my wife for her birthday. She loved the look of the kettle. Unfortunately, the handle gets too hot to handle without a pot holder. So far, we have not been able to find a silicone or cotton handle cover that fits around the handle...still looking though.

Love it, but could not keep it.

The all-clad is a very attractive and solid kettle. I gave it four stars because of having to use a pot holder to lift the kettle. For that reason it was returned to the store.

Good Product,But Handle With Care

This kettle is sturdy, heats fast and keeps the water hot for some time. My major complaint is how hot the handle gets. I burned my arm when it touched the handle as I reached over the kettle to check a pot on the back burner. My other complaint is that the spring on the spout lid is too sensitive. If my potholder (required for the hot handle) is touching it at all, it will not stay open.

Rust

I purchased this item at the end of last year the item has rusted with ordinary use. It was my second purchase if this kettle. I believed I was responsible for the first one having rust, maybe some lack of care as that one lasted 2 years before rusting. I can not recommend this kettle as beautiful as it is.

Tea Kettle & out of stock items

Tea kettle is great, What's bad is the out of stock items on the website, I've been wanting the 1.5qt saucepan w/ glass lid for a few mo now. Also a 3qt saute pan w/ glass lid that also been out of stock for months now. What gives???

A very happy customer.

I have had this kettle for approximately a year, and use it daily. I originally purchased it to make pour over coffee. I spent a long time deciding whether to purchase a plug in kettle or a stove top. Since I had an induction cook top I decided on this one. Works great, looks good and I have not had any of the problems discussed by the other reviewers.
