Colors are nice...the feel is not

I wanted to like this rug. The colors are beautiful. The rug is not plush at all. It is a textured rug. There are many sections that do not have tufts of carpet, like bald spots. But that is all part of the textural design. The backing fabric is dyed to keep the design consistent. This rug is very thin and scratchy.
