Need new software to work with Windows 11.

Some of the software with it does not compatible four windows eleven

Can play DVDs for my Mac mini.

Will at least play back DVDs on my Mac mini with Sonoma OS, but could be better. Seems like the driver needs updating for it to be 100% compatible with latest Sonoma 14. Haven’t tried recording a disc with it yet.

Works OK w/macOS, but could be better.

After having to return a similar LG product because it wouldn’t work with my Mac mini having Apple silicon- I tried this one. I haven’t burned anything yet, but I’ve copied some files. I can use software to open the drawer, but I have to manually close it. Can ASUS provide a firmware update for macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 (current version). I really don’t want to return this one either and go to yet another competitor. Thanks!

WORKS JUST FINE w/my Mac mini on Mac OS 14.1.1

Having had to return an LG external BR because it wouldn't work w/my Mac mini, I thought that I'd give this Asus a try. Woohoo! It works! Yes, this model doesn't do BR, but it works! Thanks Asus for keeping the Mac user in mind, and enabling this to work with Apple Silicon. Woohoo!

Disappointed

It does not play DVDs. It only stores data. I'm disappointed. I wanted one that plays DVDs and CDs.
