Dangerous

This is the absolute worst highchair I’ve ever used. To start, the straps are useless. Shortened as far down as possible still leaves enough space for an 8-year old to fit in. The straps themselves are just held in with extra material. We found out real quick that pulling at just the right angle causes the strap to completely detach from the highchair. The reclining positions don’t properly lock in. Sitting all the way up, the left side drops back leaving a lopsided kid. The tray is difficult to lock into place. The most dangerous aspect of this highchair is the fact that it easily collapses…with my kid in it. I do not recommend that anyone purchase this highchair. I’m not sure what happened with BabyTrend’s quality over the last decade, but it’s completely gone downhill. They used to make some of the best plastic highchairs, but this was just disappointing.

Looks nice

This chair looks nice but I'm used to my old high chairs where the tray snugs right up the childs belly so all the food isn't going in their lap. And the removable tray is to small and has to many cut outs for cups and whatnot. I don't even use it, through it in a drawer.

Easy to assemble

Fast delivery. The chair came as the screen in pictures. You can adjust it to different heights and can recline it a bit. The only down part is the bottom foot thing when the baby sits keeps falling off; which gets annoying to keep putting it back together.

Nice try but has one big flaw

I've had this for my daughter for roughly 5 months, my daughter is now 10 months old and like to stand up in her chair no matter how tight I tighten the strap. It does not have straps to go over the babies shoulders. It has spots in the back of the chair that looks like shoulder straps should go there but there no holes in the seat cover or no shoulder straps to but in it. I'll probably have to waste money on another high chair because this one is not safe for my daughter.

Great features, just a few flaws

Bought this almost a month ago and have loved using it. It was easy to put together, and it’s been so easy to use. My major complaint is on the insert for the tray. While in theory it’s a great idea and would make for easy cleanup if I could use it. However, after two weeks my ten month old child discovered that she could stretch her arms out to the end of the tray and pull up in the insert. In the process she managed to get her fingers stuck and hurt herself. I thought it was just a fluke so I decided to keep the tray on and just closely watch she does in it and sure enough, five minutes later she reached out to do the same thing. Now the insert sits in the laundry collecting dust.
