Terrible purchasing experience!!!!

I ordered these earrings two weeks before a special event in which I wanted to wear them. Since they didn’t arrive on time, I called Macy’s to cancel the order. It’s impossible to cancel an order with Macy’s over the phone. I have made 4 phone calls and still have not been able to cancel. One time I waited on hold for an hour before I got to talk to a manager and then was disconnected. I ordered these earrings on April 20 and got an email this morning that they are still on backorder. I’m very disappointed in Macy’s Customer Service. I ordered these earrings because I thought if there was any problem, they’d stand behind their product. Clearly they did not do that in this instance. Once I get this issue resolved, I am going to cut up my Macy’s credit card and never step foot and one their stories again.
