Not quite

When ordering I had two concerns. I was concerned that the slit might be too high, and that there wouldn't be enough room in the bust. But no, the slit is mid thigh, and the fit is loose even in the bust, so it's not giving bodycon at all. And the slit isn't nearly as dramatic. I ordered my normal size 12, but maybe sizing down would've helped.

Dress runs large and long

Thick material is a plus but if you're not 5"4' plus, size 2 is too big for you. I don't really like the material cause for some reason the black looks like the fabric turns colors a little bit (it looks a bit old). I'm about 5 feet and I got size 2. This dress hit my ankle and it was loose. I wish Bardot considered making petite sizes. This is going back.
