Disappointed with the new formula

I’ve been a long-time fan of bareMinerals and previously used the foundation shade Medium 15, which was a perfect match for my skin tone and worked beautifully with my sensitive, breakout-prone skin. Unfortunately, that shade seems to have been discontinued, and I recently purchased Medium 32 Cool from the website as the closest match. While the color does match fairly well, the new formula has been a big letdown. It clings to my pores, makes my skin look cakey and dry, and exaggerates texture instead of smoothing it out. I’ve also started breaking out since using this foundation, which has never been an issue with the older version. My skin no longer feels hydrated or comfortable, and the foundation does not wear well throughout the day. I’m honestly so disappointed and embarrassed to wear it, as it makes my pores look more noticeable and my makeup less natural. I really hope bareMinerals considers bringing back the previous formula or improving this one for sensitive skin users.

Great foundation

I ‘ve been using Bare Minerals since there were only a few options of your powder mineral veil - over 20 years. While I’ve been frustrated in recent years by some of the changes and challenges to find the right color with product changes with so many color options, especially when it must now be done via your website where samples can’t be tried before purchasing. Setting that frustration aside - your foundation makeup remains my foundation of choice. It’s clean, wears well, and looks natural even at the end of a long day.

It will do

The previous formula was much better; it actually lasted 24 hours. This noticeable wears down after 5 hours. I have sensitive skin so this is still probably the best I can do.

Best all day foundation

Best foundation I’ve found. It truly stays on and looking fresh all day. It last through 70% humidity (maybe even more) and pool/water splashes. Can settle into fine line if I do not use a moisturizer first, but I’ve found my perfect combo and have been wearing it for over 7 years now.

Best Foundation Ever!

I have tried many foundations throughout the years, some more expensive than others, and have found BarePro from Bare Minerals to be THE Best. It offers the most amazing full coverage, stays in the longest, contains an SPF and has causes no issues with my sensitive skin. The price range is moderate. The color selections are ample and it is a product that can be used for mature skin without a primer. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
