For lovers of unicorns, griffins & great adventure

Christopher heads off to live with his grandfather for a time while his father is away. Traveling he finds animals drawn to him, magnetically, as has been true his entire life. Apparently it was just so for his mother as well. Is it a family thing? Mal is special. Everyone knows it - not just because she flies - but even Mal doesn't realize how special. During her flights - of fancy and fun - she notices some troubling sights of dying - mythological - beasts. She wants to get to the bottom of that phenomenon and to solve the problem. But how? Christopher, defying the one rule his grandfather and his father have set for him, wanders up the mountain to the lake just in time to see beasts explode out of the lake including a baby griffin and ... Mal. Mal implores Christopher to follow her back to the Archipelago to help her save the beasts. And the adventure begins. For children - of all ages - who have imagined meeting unicorns, griffins, dragons, and other mythological creatures, this tale of saving their safe world from unknown danger will draw readers in.

Adventurous, Heartfelt Middle Grade Read

Impossible Creatures is one of the best children's books since that Series That Must Not Be Named! Adventure✅️ Magic✅️ Mystery✅️ Portal Worlds✅️ Creature Features✅️ Found Family✅️ Illustrations✅️ A fun, heartfelt read that's wonderfully written. It wasn't hard to get attached to the various characters and animals. This will definitely be a series that I read to my kiddos when theyre a bit older. This is such a lovely read for all ages. It's so rare that a book will come along that you just know children will be reading for decades.
