Few Words, Bug Message!

Be You does what you think; it asks you to be you! It encourages young children to take a chance to be themselves, to be who they are by being brave, thinking for themselves, being kind, being adventuresome, being ready to take the next step, being different, and being connected to others who make them feel like they can be themselves. This book encourages them to encourage others to do the same. It reminds children that, no matter what, they are loved. This is a bright and colorful book of sweet drawings, few words, and lots of important meanings. My second-grade students love this book, and I believe it is a valuable one for all young children to hear.
