Pretty but inside has horrible chemical smell

This box is pretty. The colors exactly match the photo. The box is heavy. The "marble" appears to be a paper print of colored marble with a thick glass overlay and not the true stone. The quartz on top is pretty and sparkly but not completely white. Unfortunately, the interior of this box has a horrible, chemical smell. It permeated the items stored inside. If this smell does not dissipate soon, it will be returned.
