BRIGGS & RILEY Excellence- 30 Years and Counting

I bought two Briggs & Riley bags in 1995, and both are as serviceable and functional today as when they were brand new. They continue to look great despite hard use. After 21 years one bag was torn by luggage handlers. I returned it for repair at no charge. It was fixed and returned to me within seven days. You cannot see the repair. You can depend on Briggs & Riley, period. Simply the best.

Unexpectedly heavy and too large

Unexpectedly heavy and too large for european travel. I would not recommend this bag. I bought one for both my wife and I for our trip to Germany and France, and now wish I hadn't. We couldn't take them with us, and since I had them monogrammed, I cannot return them. Big mistake. . .

The Perfect Suitcase

I finally made the investment! After 18 years with my “good old pilot bag” I bought a new suitcase. I waited because I needed one as versatile as the one I used as a flight attendant. I needed to have a built in garment bag and the perfect carry-on size. I never check my bag! This one is much lighter than my old carry-on and so much easier to move around and put in an overhead. I spent months looking and researching but I found exactly what I was looking for!

Pilot-approved

This is a great replacement for my 2-wheel pilot crew suitcase. I love having 4 wheels in the airport - it is smoother than 2 wheels and is easier for me to roll around the airport. It also fits better on escalators and small airport spaces. It is perfect on the 737 flight deck. I don’t use the J-hook it comes with for my second bag - I prefer to have it (B&R large cargo backpack) on top with the handle sleeve.

Love this roller

I love the garment section to keep the clothes I need wrinkle free. I also love the front laptop access zipper panel. I don't use the cellphone pocket on the back. It sits too low on the bag. One improvement would be if the bag were 22" instead of 21".
