Definitely not thrilled with this purchase. There is nothing cooling about this mattress. It is so thick it is difficult to find a fitted sheet to fit. It is just an ok, overpriced mattress.

Comfortable, But Lacking Support for My Back

I’ve been sleeping on the Helix Midnight Elite for a little while now, and while it’s definitely comfortable, I’ve been waking up with an achy back most mornings. The mattress has a nice plush feel, but I’m not sure if it’s too soft and not providing enough support for my back, or if there’s another reason behind the discomfort. It feels great when I first lay down, but by morning, I notice some stiffness and soreness that I didn’t experience with my previous mattress. I really wanted to love this mattress because it’s high-quality and well-made, and I can tell that a lot of thought went into its design. It does a great job of isolating motion and feels cool throughout the night, which I appreciate. However, I’m starting to wonder if I might need something with a bit more firmness or lumbar support. If you prefer a softer mattress and don’t have back issues, this might be a great option. But if you need extra support, it may be worth considering a firmer model or one with additional reinforcement for the lower back. I’ll give it a bit more time to see if my body adjusts, but for now, I’m on the fence.

Mattress doesn’t provide enough support. Wife and I roll towards each other. I sometimes wake up feeling soar. Miss my Tempur-pedic mattress.
