Update after a few nights of sleep

The Helix Midnight Luxe feels supportive although a little softer than I was anticipating. I’ve only slept on it a few nights at this point as it arrived a little later than scheduled and I had to wait until the next trip down to the new home to get it set up. The mattresss does sleep warm. I purchased the extra cooling feature -but not the MOST cooling available. I may have made a mistake …. Woken up hot each time so far.

Hoping for Resolution Without Added Cost

I chose the Helix Midnight Luxe based on its reputation for supporting side sleepers with plush comfort and cooling technology. Unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to expectations. The mattress feels firmer than advertised, and I consistently wake up with back and side pain—likely from misalignment. The upgraded cooling cover hasn’t made a difference either; I still sleep hot. The only thing making this mattress usable is my adjustable base, but even with that, I haven’t noticed any of the deeper sleep or pain relief Helix promotes. I really wanted to love this mattress and had high hopes it would help improve my sleep. I’m sharing this in hopes that Helix will stand behind its comfort guarantee and offer a replacement or refund option—without additional costs on my end. I don’t feel I should have to pay more to correct a purchase that clearly hasn’t worked as promised.

Hi Helix Team, I’ve been

Hi Helix Team, I’ve been sleeping on the Midnight Luxe for a little over two weeks now, and I’ve unfortunately been experiencing persistent right-sided lower back and hip soreness, particularly when sleeping on my back — even after 8 hours of sleep. I initially thought the issue might be the firmness, so I tried the complimentary soft topper you kindly provided. However, the soreness has continued — and in some cases worsened — especially when sharing the bed with my partner, who sleeps on my right. I also took photos to assess my alignment and noticed that my hips sink lower than my chest and legs, which seems to be pulling my lower back into an arched position overnight. Even when sleeping alone without the topper, the issue remains. Given all of this, I believe the Midnight Luxe is not the right fit for my body mechanics and sleeping position (primarily back sleeping). After researching and comparing models, I think the Dusk Luxe would be a better match — it offers the same comfort feel but with more resilient, responsive support that should better align my hips and spine.

I have been very pleased with this mattress. I side and back sleep equally, and might like it slightly more firm for back sleeping but the bit more medium support is better for the side sleeping
