I took my year and a half old sewing machine in for repair again. I have always bought my sewing machines from the old school company. I was looking around the shop while they check my sewing machine out. I noticed a LB5500M at a very good price. I’ve wanted an a sewing machine that could do embroidery for sometime. I set it up at home and started sewing with it. It blew me away the features are fantastic but it’s the way it feels that one me over. It’s very intuitive to use, I seamlessly flow from one project to another. The quality is fantastic and ease of use is unbelievable. I wish I hadn’t just purchased a serger made by the other company. I imagine it’s just as intuitive and well built as my new machine. If your looking for a new machine I recommend going into your lock dealer and try one out.

Amazing machine with so many features!
Amazing machine. Have had for years and I have no complaints. Sews well, sews through many layers. So many stitches. Great embroidery capabilities. All the features you would need at a great price. Well done. I took off the marvel covers for a neutral look and have an outstanding machine.

Amazing sewing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start off by saying I have never used a sewing machine in my life and my wife hasn’t used one since high school. But after watching a few videos we quickly got the hang of it. This machine basically does everything on its own. We just had to thread the needle, which has the steps marked on the machine itself and it actually threads the needle itself with a press of a lever. We also had to thread the bobbin which is the thread used on the pack of the project. Then we simply had to download our design from the website, put it on a usb, and download it to the machine itself. The display is very handy for customizing any and all parts of your project. Being as it is a marvel machine we started with a marvel embroidery design. The display shows you everything from which color is next to how long each color will take to how long the total project will take. Then you just press the start button and it does all the work for you. For never having used a sewing machine this one made it very easy to learn and start doing an embroidery project effortlessly. When first unboxing, I will say that it is very daunting as there are a lot of pieces and parts included with the machine but the fact that basically everything you need to start is included is simply amazing. So far we have only tried the embroidery function but can’t wait to try all the other features.

Working machine

It took a little while to learn how to use it braise I never sewed anything before, but we were able to activate the machine and create logos on . Great Combo Machine!

It’s the best of both worlds it’s combination of sewing machine and simple embroidery are everything I was looking for! I have the Marvel Edition and I can’t wait to go shop for some more color yarn to test out the included downloads. I also love that it’s so simple to wirelessly download any design to the machine. I have so many other small designs I can’t want to test out!

Life saver
