This was a lovely kettle visually, nice appearance and weight. The spout cover melted from the heat of the water boiling and fell off. Didn’t last quite a year. Looking for a reliable replacement that doesn’t have this potential defect.

The Tea Kettle is working well and holds enough water for me to serve tea in regular mugs, to four people. Its whistle is loud enough to alert me the water is boiled and ready.

Does not whistle
The kettle does not whistle. I tried filling it to different levels and it still wouldn't whistle. As this was the primary reason I bought the kettle, I returned it. I love the look of it though.

Nice design. I wish the spout & whistle were a little more finely tooled. The whistle could be louder.

Nice modern looking kettle
The kettle has a smooth, modern look. It’s lightweight, but not flimsy weighted, and has a solid feel. The grip is comfortable, so it is easy to hold. Most importantly, the spout does not leak when you pour.

Nice, heavyweight teapot!
Nice, heavyweight teapot! Perfect for everyday use ... extremely sturdy. Whistle is very loud. Has a good volume capacity, enough for several mugs worth. A little difficult to clean, but that hasn't been an issue since it just has held water. Main cover works well and stays on. Not too difficultto remove to refill. Other cover is easy to push back to pour.
