I shopped around before picking this set.

I am in the process of downsizing and with the exception of a larger stockpot and a steamer, these meet all my needs. They are very beautiful. Love the glass stacking lids! Macy’s had one of the better prices. However, after I went to the Calihan website, a few days later, they sent me a 50% off coupon. So, be sure to shop around. Macy’s told me that they did not price match manufacturers websites, but they made an exception in my case. That’s good, because I would have returned the set if they would not have.

Poor lid design

Had to return. They seem like amazing pots and pans. Poor design on lids. Both 8” lids do not seal since the handles hit each other and keep from sealing. Great concept with some changes needed. Will keep looking for a stainless set.

They sent us a used set.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with Macy’s. We purchased this Calphalon premier stainless steel set expecting a NEW, unopened, and unused set. We were super excited about our new set and tossed the box before we realized the some of the pans were used. For a large, well known corporate company, I would expect them send used merchandise back to the merchant, not resell it to customers.

Manufacturer wouldnt warranty a lid that didn't fit, brand new never used.
