satisfied for 25 years

Peu has the ideal fit for me and a modest, headstrong appearance. With the elastic laces I slip smoothly into my lovely walkers. I swear by them. Camper can continue for another 50 years for me.

2nd Peu purchase in 15 years

2nd Peu purchase in 15 years - these new shoes have a SERIOUS problem. It’s impossible to wear them without putting plasters or some other protection on your lower achilles tendon. Even when you do that, eventually the shoe becomes painful to wear. My older pair of Peu shoes didn’t have this problem, in fact they were comfortable from the moment I tried them on, which is why I wanted a new pair. However, even the people in the store warned me that people with older model Peu’s tend to dislike the new models which are more firm and tight. These new Peu’s fit perfectly. The MAJOR FLAW is the non-stop rubbing against my achilles tendon that eventually gets so bad you end up limping. I am still hoping this shoe leather will relent and soften so I can wear the show for more than 1 hour before I must take them off and put on different shoes. Honestly the situation leaves me deeply disappointed with a brand I want to love, but has ended up revising a popular shoe in a way that physically hurts anyone who wears it. I feel very conflicted about the Camper brand now and am not sure I’ll ever purchase another pair of shoes from them to be completely honest.
