Break Easily

Well, these dishes say they are microwave safe, they are not. I had several dishes crack under the heat of the microwave. I have never had a dish do this before.

Beautiful dinnerware pieces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinnerware set is simply beautiful. It has an almost rustic feel to it, but is elegant at the same time. They arrived in very sturdy packaging and nothing was chipped or broken. The size and shape of the pieces are well-designed for easy consumption and I can see myself bringing these out for dinner parties.

Would rate these 3.5 stars

I decided on this set because of the decorative look of the ridges on the outside with the black trim. I'm torn on if I want to keep this set. I like the curved sides of the plates as it will help with keeping sauces on the plate. I was unsure of the ramen bowls vs regular pasta bowls but because the salad plate also has curved sides, I feel it could double as a shallower pasta bowl. However, my set did come with some cosmetic issues mainly in regards to the decorative black trim. Half of the plates had trim that looked "dusty" where it wasn't fully painted black or it looks like it was painted on thinly. It does not look uniformly black. I also noticed some areas where you could tell that the trim was applied over an area twice as the line isn't uniform. Also, if having plates that stack evenly matter to you, then I don't recommend this set. There's going to be a gap in between the plates that cause them to sit unevely. I've emailed the manufacturer to see about getting replacement.

Organic elegance for easy everyday use.

The ridges, uneven edges and splatter pattern give it an organic and loose feel, but the edging and blue ground it with an unexpected bold elegance. I’ve run it through out dishwasher and it comes out perfectly every time. Biggest highlight: the low bowls! Perfect for salads or pastas and just the right size.

Elegant, rustic and high quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Christian Soriano Luma 16-piece dinnerware set in light green for free in exchange for my honest review. This set comes with 4 dinner plates, 4 pasta bowls, 4 salad plates, and 4 soup bowls. The quality is great, and the design is very elegant. I love the size of the bowls and I love the rustic vibe that the uneven brown-rimmed edges gives the set. The porcelain is high quality and is both microwave and dishwasher safe, but I will probably avoid the microwave to preserve the quality, as the care instructions state that overheating can cause cracks or breaks.

Beautiful set for a good price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set far exceeded my expectations.. we received this to test out from influenster and we have received compliments from our friends. The details on it are unique and the green in the middle is the pop of color we needed in our kitchen. The plates are durable and feel good. The bowls are deep and it's a great set to have variety. I would definitely recommend these to someone who likes fancy looking dishware for a fraction of the price compared to other high end plates.
