Good choice for an enamel tea kettle
If you like enamel tea kettles, this is a good choice. It has a large fill opening and you don't have to flip a handle out of the way to open it. The whistle stays open if you want and the whistle starts out quietly then gets louder; gives you a chance to get to the kettle before it is waking the whole household, haha

Whistling Teapot
This is my second time buying this teapot. I got a red one for our house then a teal one for a friend. This works well, does its job, compact and good for the money.

Had for a year. Rusted inside.
Used maybe four times a day for a year. Rust chips in the bottom.

It’s nice looking
I had a Rachel Ray teapot that I really liked but there was a plastic piece on the spout that broke off. It still worked fine regardless and I loved the look so I kept it until I got this teapot which looks similar to the Rachel Ray kettle I had. But on the very first day I had this Circulon teapot the very same plastic piece on the spout broke off. Alas, it does not interfere with the function of the kettle and it looks nice so I am going to keep it. Regardless though- 2 stars- no more.

Not comfortable to use.
Removing the lid is not easy. It's slightly indented so your finger will be interacting with the metal ltop. If it's hot, you'll be burned. Also, the lid is hard to remove. When it finally releases, the top of your hand will fly up and hit the underside of the handle hard.
