Delsey Shadow 5.0 Backpack Review

I’m a big fan of Delsey and love everything they do, so I was excited to try the Shadow 5.0 Backpack. The color is fantastic—sleek, stylish, and exactly what I was looking for. It’s well-made, as expected from Delsey, and works great for everyday use. That said, I was hoping for a little more girth and space in the main compartment. It fits my essentials, but for a longer trip or heavier packing needs, it falls a bit short. The drink holders are also on the smaller side, so fitting a standard water bottle is tricky. Overall, this backpack does the job for daily use, but I’ll likely opt for something roomier when I need to carry more. If you’re looking for a compact, well-designed bag for lighter loads, this is a solid choice!

Smaller than a back pack, love the color/pockets. Shoulder straps are very comfortable.

SMALL

I was very disappointed that the backpack is so small! It’s cute and the design is ideal, but it is super small! The pouches are very tiny and are limited as to what you could possibly put in them. It says the bottom is 5 inches wide but it’s really only about 3 1/2 unless you extend out to the outer pouch, but inside the main pouch, there’s no room to put much of anything. I thought it would be the size of one of the large L.L. Bean bags, but it definitely is not. when I tried to place my hand flat in the bottom of the main pouch, it didn’t lay flat so that shows it isn’t wide enough. I took pictures but there’s no way to add them to this review. If you’re looking just for a laptop bag, it would work, but anything else is not going to fit Definitely would not purchase.
