Not Quite Complete

This book has wonderful recipes, beautiful pictures, and a lot of variety so if you're looking to make a sweet or savory board, you'll find tons of options here. Most of the ingredients are easy to find and this is organized fairly well with an easy-to-use index in the back. What I expect, though, from a book that touts itself as complete is a 1) list of items that would be helpful/essential to creating a balanced board and 2) step-by-step instructions to make them beautiful; this book has neither. In fact, it's just a bunch of recipes thrown together to make a tasty board but no indication how you should accomplish this.
