Fun selection
There is always great creativity and humor with this author/illustrator. A collection of shorts with awesome weird creatures with relatable social awareness. I love Nessie and The Ghosts a lot. The cover glows in the dark (the ghosts). Great size and format.

great fun!
Admittedly, there isn't a lot of depth to this collection of comics, nor does there need to be. This is adorable silly fun with adorable silly cryptids and adorable silly jokes, and it made my day better. A perfect book to keep around for when you need a laugh! #CryptidClub #NetGalley

Urban Myths with a Large Helping of Humor
This book is a collection of short comics about various creatures of folktales, urban myths, and legends including Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, extraterrestrials, and Mothman. They are very cute and humorous, and the illustrations are all done in Sarah Andersen’s trademark style. A few highlights for me included: The Flatwoods Monster declaring that her dress has pockets. Teenage extraterrestrials accidentally crashing their spaceship in Roswell. Bigfoot desperately trying to be photographed, but the pictures always come out blurry. Mothman wearing light-up shoes. Ghosts and aliens keeping track of how many kids dress up like them for Halloween. The book also includes a glossary at the back naming each cryptid or cryptid type along with its approximate origins and a brief description of characteristics.

Adorable/funny mini comics with cute art
Im a big fan of Sarah Andersen's comics. The general art style and humor is always entertaining and cute so I was really excited to see this new set of comics! Cryptids are a hit topic and I've always found the lore and mystery of them to be so interesting. These comics were a hilariously cute take on cryptids and their different day to day situations. Sarah chose an interesting collection of cryptids for these comics too and it was fun to see some about old school myths like Bigfoot but also some about newer creations like Slender Man or Siren Head. A really fun read! - for more bookish content follow my bookstagram (thelibrarysghost)
