Love it

This is our favorite appliance for cooking bacon. It is splatter proof and keeps the bacon from curling up. Also very easy to make a quick quesadilla

Disappointed

Had a Cuisinart Griddle and Grill for 10 years until the settings began to fail. Ordered the latest model that arrived promptly. On turning on the timer switch it promptly fell off broken. Turning on the heating elements fused the 13amp cicuit fuse. Cuisinart sent a replacment the next day. The timer switch didn't fall off but turning on the heating switch again fuses the 13amp circuit fuse. We returned both and received a refund.

Great Griddler

This is a replacement for the same item we got 15-20 years ago because it was dropped and broken. Love it. Love the interchangeable plates. Easy to clean. Cooks well for typically the breakfast items we use it for.

Works good once you override the design flaws

The unit looks nice, it compact, and the controls are easy to use. However, there is a spring-loaded detent that prevents the top from moving freely when making paninis or grilled sandwiches. You have to manually release the top by pushing it down and past the detent to allow the unit to work properly. I was going to order the waffle plates, but with the way the unit is designed they would all turn out lopsided.
