MSC-600 Multi Cooker, Cook Central
Product details
Web ID: 713850The most awesome multi cooker on the market l
I am 70 years of age who replaced my Hamilton Beach Multi Cooker with the Cuisinart Cook Central 3-In1 Multi Cooker MSC-600. This is by far so much better than the Hamilton Beach, easier to operate, better inside cooker, and much better final results. I have used this Cuisinart Multi Cooker to make a pot of dry Great Northern Beans, a pot of baby Lima beans, pork chops with apples & stuffing, stuffed chicken breasts, steamed large shrimp, steamed vegetable combination (broccoli, carrots, yellow squash), and Peach Cobbler. Everything turned out absolutely delicious, perfect every time. I also sautéed vegetables to add to a pot of homemade beef stew in here! The Cuisinart Cook Central Multi Cooker MSC-600 is absolutely worth every penny I paid for it. I almost forgot to mention that the interior pot is metal, not ceramic, so it’s lighter to carry, and the nonstick finish makes cleanup a breeze. I only use silicone and wood utensils in it to protect my investment. This is absolutely the best on the market today!

Great Slow Cooket
Great slow cooker! Purchased as a replacement and I couldn’t be happier! The ability to sear before slow cooking has really helped to enhance the flavors.

The Absolute Best Multicooker On The Market
This is a replacement for a Hamilton Beach multi cooker that I liked but there was a lot that I didn’t like. The Cuisinart MSC-600 has the Hamilton Beach multi cooker beat by a long shot in that the MSC-600 is much easier to use, the display of the timer & temperature are much easier to read, the backlit oval buttons are easier to press with my arthritic fingers and with my doctor diagnosed severe diabetic neuropathy in my hands & fingers, the non-stick interior is wonderful and very easy to clean, the handles are much easier to grab and carry, and they are not as easy to break, and most importantly, the final results are much better too! I made the most delicious bean soup today in my MSC-600 using dry great northern beans, on slow cook LOW for 6-1/2 hours then on HIGH for 1-1/2 hours! Perfectly addictive results. I also seared a beef chuck roast in my MSC-600 for dinner tomorrow to see how it compares to my Hamilton Beach multi cooker! I obtained much better results with my Cuisinart MSC-600! I’m 70 years of age and am not easily impressed BUT I’m honestly impressed and am definitely NOT sorry that I bought this Cuisinart Cook Central Multicooker MSC-600 to replace my Hamilton Beach multi cooker!!! The MSC-600 has my Crockpot slow cooker beat tremendously too by the way!

Great features, Easy to clean
I LOVE this slow cooker. The most convenient (& favorite option for me) is the ability to brown/saute right in the pot, bc of the nonstick feature. This eliminates having to dirty an extra pan to brown meat first, which I almost always do if it's a chuck roast or stew meat. This beauty cleans up like a dream (I only hand wash & don't recall if the insert is DW safe, but why chance it?). It's easily programmable and has any function you need with a slow cooker. Bc of the nonstick surface you'll want to ensure you use only nylon (or other safe material) utensils so as not to scratch it. Lastly, it comes with a rack so you can elevate a piece of meat off the bottom or steam something like fish. This one's a winner and will last many years if you take some simple steps to care for it.

Love the browning feature
I’ve used my new crockpot only twice. I love the browning feature. So far: the browning feature worked well and is awesome. Cons: the controls take a while to learn. The square shape is awkward, so is the drop in cooking unit, making it harder to put away I’m sure I will get used to these issues before long
