A winner

I have oily skin and have tried a lot of matte primers and makeup. This is by far the best and blends well with my favorite tinted moisturizer.

Good for keeping skin matte

It does keep the shine down, but the consistency of it is not what I expected.

Not for me

I chose a sample size of this product after reading reviews from other users claiming this to be the best primer for their skin, unfortunately it didn’t work any better than my Estée Lauder primer. I have combination skin tending to oily so before I apply make up I always have to prep my skin, this product goes smooth on your skin leaving a satin feel to it but when it comes to help control oil it didn’t help at all. Around 2 hours after I applied my make up I could see and feel the shines in my face especially my cheeks and nose. I’m just glad I didn’t buy this product and was only trying it because it’s really not for me

Wow - I hate primers…LOVE THIS!

I’ve tried numerous “matte” primers only to be disappointed. I use this with Il Makiage Foundation. I love this foundation but it is shiny on my dry (and weirdly oily) skin. I’d gotten to the point where I didn’t use foundation at all. Don’t ask me why I tried this but boy am I glad I did! I followed the guidance to mix with foundation and the application is heavenly even with fingers! I have very sensitive skin which reacts to most products when new and my skin reacted as it usually does, no extreme reaction.
