Very disappointed!

I purchased the Donna Karan belted wing collar coat in gold. When I received it there was no belt . I immediately contacted Macy’s.com and they kept telling me there was nothing they could do because it wasn’t available and it was sold as a set. I explained if was sold as a set , I didn’t receive mine as a set . Then an unacceptable discount was offed. I am really disappointed by the fact that the Macy employee who packed it had to be aware that the belt was missing based out the outer loops. I really love the coat and I am asking that that a belt be sent to me from the coats that they have in stock.

Just what I wanted

I purchased 2 coats. One in gold and one in red. I wore the hold one to a concert. I received so many compliments. The fit and the shine was perfect.

Used coat

This gold-colored jacket showed signs of prior use—slight discoloration, a worn smell, and wrinkles at the waist. It was overly puffy and unflattering, falling short of expectations. This was a terrible shopping experience. Had I known it was defective, I wouldn’t have ordered, let alone paid a return shipping fee. Macy’s system is flawed—returns showed as free, but a shipping fee was later deducted. Customer service kept making excuses, finally blaming rewards points. The system should hold points at the return request, not deduct them later. This wasted my time and trust—I won’t shop at Macy’s again!
