Interesting fun. book

From what I've read so far, Drama By Raina Telgemeier is a graphic novel for ages 8-12. The main character is Callie, a 12 year old girl going into 7th grade. Callie is a young teen who is very passionate, hardworking, determined and sometimes a little bit stubborn. Callie experiences a lot of problems/completions in just the first part of her school year. These problems consist of boy and girl drama. Callie is in her middle school's drama program..she absolutely adores theater but she's not very good at singing or dancing. Callie problem solves and finds a way to still do the things she loves. She decides to be a set designer for her school's musical moon over the mississippi. I thought this was a very easy going, fun book to read. It always left me on a cliffhanger and made me want to read more. Overall from what i've read so far i recommend this book for young teen girls around the same age as Callie. Although there is some inappropriate parts i think it's an amazing book to show young teens what middle school is like.
