Better than photos

This dress is all sequins. The embroidered flowers are layered with sequins over black mesh. The flowers are red, bright pink, emerald green, and lavender (not white). In photos the purple looks white - making this dress seem “brighter” than it is. It’s actually a lovely winter frock. My only complaint is the lining seems to be tighter than the dress, making the fit less than perfect. Unfortunate DTP dresses don’t leave much room for alterations. I am 5’3 and this comes mid-calf on my frame. I ordered a size L and M; I am 150lbs, hour glass shape with a moderate/full bust and full hips. I typically wear a size 8. The med is snug on me - if you’re a 10 size up to the L. The L was way too big for me in the chest and waist, so I went with the M. The shoulder straps are long, I had them altered

Pretty but runs small

The blue color is a bit darker and it was a bit long for me and be sure to size up.

Color

Actual color is darker than the picture. The color on the picture is prettier than the actual color of the dress. The dress is more periwinkle than pastel blue. The top ran bigger than than normal size ten dress. It fit well at the bottom but too big on the chest. I also think the straps could be thinner and more dressier to match the fabric of the dress.
