Dangerously slippery- Unsafe!

I bought these without looking at reviews. they are going right back tomorrow. they are dangerously slippery on the soles. the insoles are completely absent, no structure or definable heel cup. worst shoe I have ever seen in this brand! they are also cut narrow, if someone dates try them . UNSAFE ps they make you enter a star. it deserves less than one.

comfortable slip on

I was impressed with this light weight shoe (medium width). I wore them for several hours (on my feet) without any issues. At first glance I expected that they wouldn’t be comfortable because I typically wear spacious open toe sandals. They were not confining and best of all no annoying “break in” period.

Leather Easy Spirit Mules

The shoes were nice looking and the style I usually buy from Easy Spirit. Unfortunately they did not fit the same. The instep was narrower and cut into my foot.

Cute and Soft

Super comfortable and stylish. A really cut natural color (tan) for the spring/summer. The back out is perfectly soft and easily slips on and off. The top of the shoe is also not too high and the cut-out does not rub against the top of the foot. I will purchase the other color. Fit was perfect too. Runs true to size.

Returned for reasons that may not bother you...

These shoes are a new version of an old pair by Easy Spirit that I love and have worn for years. I bought these to replace the old pair because their heels are shot, but the tops of the shoes are in very good shape. I ended up returning these because the soles were very hard and didn't have the cushioning in the ball of the foot that my old pair has (and Easy Spirit is known for). The edging along the top of the foot is trimmed to follow the pattern, but it looks rough around the back of the heel. (You can see it in the photo.) I thought the trimmed edge was a weakness in the design and durability. My old shoes have finished edges and a lovely detail seam that follows the line of the heel at the arch. I also would have preferred a black heel, but this is ok. Overall, this shoe seems well made. I would have kept them if the soles weren't so hard, but I wouldn't have paid their full retail price. These shoes just aren't up to the same design quality as my old pair.
