Black is Fabulous But Not as Pictured

These are very cushy, quality built, and are beautifully styled. However, I ordered the black hoping for the smooth leather and received a pair that is as currently pictured on the ECCO website - more like a croc-embossed nearly patent leather with a white insert at the arch. Great if one is looking for something a bit more edgy and modern. They are a tad long and hit my ankle since they run a bit high in the heel. I am a huge fan of ECCO shoes but sadly these are going back.
