Cute But Too Short

Bought these to go with the matching top. The fabric is nice and I love the striped pattern. They also look really cute together as a set. I unfortunately had to deduct a star or 2 because the shorts are too short for me to wear out of the house. The shorts on the model look pretty full coverage/full length and I went with my normal size, small, but my booty kinda hangs out the bottom and I just wouldn't feel comfortable wearing these in public. I wear boy short underwear and they aren't that much bigger than my underwear. Idk if I should have sized up bc besides the length they fit great and I feel that a medium wouldn't fit me right. :/
