Stunning drop earrings

So superb! These feel substantial, and have a lot of shine to both the gold and the beads. The only thing I am unclear about is what the material actually is. Online description points to these being onyx beads. But the Effy tag included in the actual box seems to indicate they are freshwater pearls that are somehow dipped in onyx? I didn't know that was possible, but they certainly are uniform in size so perhaps the tag for both these and the matching bracelet is just misleading.
