I was attracted to this ring because of Lady Diana’s engagement ring . So elegant and stylish. Yes, it’s a dark sapphire, but if you look closely in the light and zoom in on the photograph, it truly is a royal blue.

I was very disappointed with the product. If u look at it, the saphire is more black, very dark deep blue and not at all as advertised. The chain is very delicate and poor quality. Sadly I will be returning the necklace.

I was disappointed that the Sapphire was not bigger. With the stated original price, you would think that it would be a more substantial jewel. Also this necklace has a very poor quality chain, that I cannot clip it around my neck. I’m going to have to purchase a more substantial good quality chain, unfortunately.

This ring is absolutely gorgeous! My husband and children gave it to me in the Cadet Chapel where our family was established. I thank God for this gorgeous reminder that keeping promises and covenants does confer on the oath keepers a royalty which goes deeper than rank conferred by humans in this world. And the beautiful family reminds me that promises made and kept are a wonderful gift from the God I thank for them and this “Royal” ring.

I own other pieces from Effy, I was so excited with these purchases! But soon I grew disappointed. I was expecting comparable gem quality to my previous purchases, I wasn’t happy with the sapphire quality, diamonds are ok, I feel it wouldn’t be worth paying original price. I also found that the combination between a bigger piece of jewlery and lower gem quality makes for a costume jewlery look. I order ring twice and also the pendant, unfortunately all 3 pieces were returned. Probably there are some really beautiful pieces out there like other reviews say but I wasn’t one of the lucky shoppers.

The design is striking and does resemble the gorgeous ring Princess Diana wore. The stone is very dark and had a very hard time trying to find a stone that look blue instead of black. I think it is luck finding a blue stone.
