Great Summer Read

3.5 ⭐️ So technically, Percy and Sam knew what happened, but didn't know the other knew it too. I guess the smartest person in the room was Sam's brother. He immediately told everything to his brother so that he could live his life without feeling guilty.

Cute, Easy Summer Read

Listened to the audiobook of this story and thought it was a cute & easy listen. Definitely not your typical romance story and scenarios that some may not agree with, but overall I thought it was an interesting storyline! The non-linear timeline kept it even more intriguing as you try to figure out what happened in the past to lead to what's going on in the present.

My favorite this year

I did not want to finish this book for the right reasons. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! I became emotionally attached to the characters and the experience took me through a wave of emotions. The ending: SHOCKER! I wish there was a second book honestly I’d buy it almost instantly.

Engaging material

Such a hard book to put down! I loved the crossover from the main characters teenage years then to their adult between chapters. Fortune did an amazing job with expressing the connections between the characters while continuing to leave you wanting to read more! This book brings a mix of drama, romance, and although it only be my opinion, a little comedy throughout. It was easy to picture the setting of each scene in the book as she gives the perfect amount of details. Definitely a book to add to the list if you’re looking for something that shares the idea of love and how choices can leave a mark!

Definitely a NO

I read the whole book so at the end I found out that she cheated on him with his brother and then they forgave each other and were happy and brother was happy because he forgave him too? Like WHAT?! That’s a no🙁 we shouldn’t encourage cheating specially with family members that’s an unforgiving law that’s why im never gonna read anything from this author.
