cheaply made

While food gets cooked in the pot, I am disappointed with the quality. I was expecting more from Farberware. That's why I bought it. I've had other Farberware cookware and none felt this cheaply made.

Disappointing Lid 3 Qt. Straining Saucepan And Lid

I purchased 2 Farberware Saucepans for my daughter. I bought the 3 Qt. with the straining lid & the 4 Qt. pots. They are flimsy compared to the past, but then anyone who knows their products from the past, will agree. I still have my 1980s pieces. The 4 Qt. lid fits Ok. The 3 Qt. lid with the pouring spout does not fit securely & I deem as a burn hazard. I have never had any pot with a cover which fits as poorly. I had purchased it online. I went to my local Macys (did not check that it is online only) to see if I could compare the one, I received with another pot. However, I should have read the negative reviews first & probably would not have purchased it. I currently have one of these in my shopping bag. I will eliminate it. There is no point if all these lids are not a proper, secure & safe fit. Sad day for the American consumer.

Good cookware

I have had Farberware pots for 30+ years. I finally burned my 3-quart pot so badly, it was not salvageable. Very reasonable price at Macy's. I do recommend them.

Favorite pot

Had a 3qt Farberware pot for 30 years and decided to replace it. Amazing how long it lasted and still looked good.

3 qt sauce pan

Excellent, impressed with quality was afraid it would not be as good as the ones I have owned for 30+ years but it is possibly even better.

I love this pot with the flared edges and top that can be used for straining.

Farberware

The pan is just the right size for gravy and sauce. The strainer holes in the llid are especially helpful for draining small quantities of veggies.
