Didn't work for me

You should really know your hair type and scalp condition before you buy. This particular shampoo didn't work for me. Made my scalp dry and hair dull. My hair is fine and wavy, but this shampoo made it really fuzzy and out of control.

Hydration & Bounce

I'm biracial, Black & German. I have thick, curly, kinda dry hair. I'm always on the hunt for hydrating products. I've tried everything on the market and always come back to Fekkai. One big reason is their products hydrate without weighing my hair down. I love my bouncy curls and so many hydrating products droop my curls and leave me looking like a wet mop. Additionally, people complain about Fekkai prices, but I can use a teaspoon of Fekkai where I need a tablespoon of other products. Fekkai products are a great value on top of making my hair look, feel and smell great.

Bring back "Essential Shea" original formula!!

I used the original formula "Essential Shea" religiously. The formula was not too thick, both the shampoo & conditioner rinsed clean and left my hair soft, silky and feeling clean (I have thick, wavy, bordering on coarse hair). Plus... the SCENT, it was AMAZING. After my first use of the new formula/new packaging/newly named "Shea Butter" shampoo and conditioner, I was so disappointed. The scent borders on what I can only describe as sun tan lotion that has gone bad, or a very light Shea scent mixed with dirty hair. It smells terrible. It is way too thick, takes ages to rinse clean and left my hair with greasier looking roots than when I started. Overall, I am so so disappointed with this new formulation (both shampoo AND conditioner).

Wouldn't you think Shea Butter would be a softening conditioner? Soooo disappointed.

Perfect winter product

I have fine, color treated hair. This product provides the moisturizer that my hair and scalp needs during the dry winter months. You'Äôre using shea butter on your body, right?

Great product poor packing

Great Product but the packaging was awful. Large box, items bounced around in shipment, leaked all over the box.

Not as I expected

The Conditioner is not as great as I thought it would be. My hair was still very tangled and that'Äôs a big issue for me because I have a lot of hair.
