G- shock step

The color is sweet , decent watch ,easy to read and the back lighting is bright .

Great watch w/unreadable display

Sadly Casio changed all their digital displays to a black background with poorly lit letters. The letters are only visible when in direct sunlight/bright light, if you are inside . . . good luck. I have worn a G shock to work for about ten years but sadly the buttons that change time are no longer operative and as a result I wanted to replace it. As a watch’s job is to inform time I returned the new model and instead will pay a repair shop to fix the old one. G-Shock should really compare display visibility between the grey background black letter digital display and the black background indigo letters. Its a shame too as the new watch had some new functions that may have been interesting (step counter). Although if you wanted to use the new functions you need to install an app to your smartphone which was is annoying given I chose not to buy a smartwatch.
