How are they even shipping these out.

I have already returned the device to Garmin. I used it for about a week, and it became clear that the BMI and body fat percentage readings were significantly inaccurate. It was indicating that my body fat was 25%, while I am a very fit individual with a body fat percentage that ranges between 8% and 11% as measured by the Bod Pod. Aside from providing the correct body weight, this device is essentially useless.

Awesome, this thing works.

If your taller like me 6’2 you will have to adjust fat percentage to get it a lot closer as everyone is different. Just pick up some calipers and google http://www.linear-software.com/online.html Select the parrillo method as I personally feel its most accurate and what you get for a percentage from this is what you enter into the S2 scale.

Does not connect to 5g

Most cable modems utilize 5G, today. This device does not. Although you can use Bluetooth, it limits you to just one user profile.

Blue triangle of death

Happen with scale I bought 6 months ago, when I upgraded to iPhone 16. Tried everything recommended. Spent hours on it. Garmin support, every YouTube video, every Reddit post. No good. Bought a new one, paired, connected to WiFi, then suddenly disconnected and now blue triangle — out of the box. So sad. Garmin scale used the best app, had a very informative display and better app than anyone. Now I have two scales headed for the recycling bin and shopping for a new scale. Anything but Garmin.

When it works it’s great

When it functions the way it should it works great- full terrific information. It struggles to connect to it phones/Connect App and we are unable to load in multiple family members. I fell out when my wife added herself to the scale. I’m on my third Garmin watch - they are terrific, and we purchased the blood pressure unit as well.

Easy to use

I bought the S2 Smart scale to find out more than just my weight. I find it helpful to keep track my body fat and BMI and keeping all of this available on the Garmin Connect app is an added plus.
