Weird peplum flare over the hips

This jacket is very cute from the shoulders to the waist. Then, unfortunately, it flares out like a full skirt or a peplum. It doesn’t show it in the picture. I kept trying to smooth it out but it’s just the way it’s made. It makes me look like I have really wide hips because the sides flare out. Very unflattering to any figure. Disappointed that I have to return it.

Black blazer is not denim

The item description specifically says Denim Blazer. I received the black on and it is definitely not denim so I returned it.
