Buyer Beware

I bought this online because it was on sale. I used it once and loved it. The next time I go to use it, it doesn’t work. Hamilton Beach makes you email and wait for a response. I am going to buy a Kitchen Aid.

Definitely Heavy Duty

My previous Hamilton Beach stand mixer lasted for 6 years. The tilt mechanism broke, so I wanted something that was going to hold up. This professional version, made of metal is definitely the one. It is also quite heavy and doesn't have a handle like my last one. I store mine in a pantry, so I notice this every time I use it. The speeds have no notation as to what speed is used for mixing, beating, creaming, whipping, but I can adjust for that. The handle on the bowl is indented metal and not comfortable for the hand. Oh well. The performance is stellar, however. I make egg white bread weekly and the stiff peaks appear within minutes. Overall I'm happy with the mixer and am glad I bought it.

Bought mine last year. I like the way it performs . I especially like how easy it is to attach the beaters and take them off. I bought the grater attachment and use it a lot. I have RA . My hands are very crippled and this machine is easy for me to use. One complaint would be with the speed dial. I have a hard time gripping it. It would have been better if the dial had had some texture to it. I emailed customer service because the flat beater had a small chip. They sent me a new one in about a week.

Defective out of the box!

Plugged it in after opening and no power. Also, Hamilton Beach has no customer service # and no way to reach out for help. Don't buy this brand!
