Other occasion to buy:I returned to Hartmann after years of trying different brands next week. I will use my suitcase for a length of European trip. I’m going to assume everything is going to be fine if it’s not I’ll be back.

FILTHY AFTER FIRST FLIGHT!

Just took my first trip with my beautiful NEW HERRINGBONE DELUXE luggage. After picking it up it was FILTHY, after the very first flight! Could not believe how horrible and old it looked! Extremely disappointed especially after noticing so many old and ugly luggage coming down the pike looking better! I would NOT recommend getting this luggage. I am in the process of checking on how to clean it and hoping the stains will come out, but they don't make it easy. I would recommend that you get black and not this type of material.

Gets dirty very quickly

I really regret buying this. I like the layout but after one flight the outside is completely stained and looks disgusting.

Great Luggage

Haven't taken my first trip yet but looks well made and sturdy. My last Hartmann luggage lasted for years with heavy travel. Hope this does as well.

Downgrade from original Hartman quality

I bought this suitcase to replace my "Real" Hartman not knowing that Hartman had changed owners and quality. While the bag is very roomy, it no longer contains the two inner zippered pockets for extra organization, security and privacy. The actual outer tweed was ruined on the very first use with dirt/oil i have not been able to remove.

Beautiful suitcase!

Beautiful suitcase with good storage. I really like that it has the hanging clothes garment bag that is not attached and can be used if needed. Such nice quality as well. Hope the airlines won't ruin it.
