Unraveling after 1 wash but will not exchange

We recently bought a couple of these. So far, one has begin unraveling on the edges after a single wash. This was after the return period, and even though this is clearly a manufacturing defect, Macy's will not exchange it. It says something if a store wont stand behind their own brand. We planned to buy more towel and sheets, but at this point, we'll be looking elsewhere, after buying hotel collection for over 20 years.

Hotel Towels Shedding

I normally buy the Hotel towels because of the quality and color selection. Recently, I replaced worn out towels with new Hotel towels. I washed the towels before use. I am disappointed and frustrated because each time I dry off, there's lint all over my body from the towels shedding and around the shower drain. I've washed these towels a couple of times so they should not be shedding but they are. Poor quality.

Seams unraveled after 1 wash

These are terrible. The seams have fallen apart on half of the towels I purchased for 5 bathrooms in just one wash cycle. Insane amounts of lint as others had reviewed. I expected the line after one wash but not them genuinely falling apart at the seams. So disappointed as we have always purchased the Hotel Brand towels.
