Impressed So Far !!!

My new HP is only just been set up! This is my 2nd HP, reason for purchasing, 1st one was great. Love the keyboard! Larger screen! NOT enough USB ports??? I use a mouse, that's one! Backup is 2! None left for my light? Unable to import my Gmail address book from old HP to new HP? That's all for now. I don't have any images to share.

Mixed bags , but will do the work.

fine laptop, does gets heated when you play games like mincraft on high setting , give you about 50-60 fps. While the processor is advertised to have base speed of 3.6 Ghz and boosting up to 4.2 Ghz, in practice you would rarely achive even 3.1 Ghz as the system seems to block it due to thermal throtlling , so yes not good thermal work done . The battery life is dissappoining . Also my model doesnt have fingerprint sensor despite being advertised as having one on website.

Not that impressed but what cna you do?

2 days after setting up my laptop, I left it on over night using just the battery and it became very warm almost hot. I turned it off and after 12 more hours it was still warm. I put it outside covered in case it would start fire. During this time I was unable to use the laptop at all as if it would not come back to life. the next morning it had cooled down and w2orked normally. no problems since except Microsoft and 365 keep trying to intrude. I use Firefox for a browser and Duck Duck Go for searches.

Great laptop BUT !!!

I love my new laptop except for the very hard to see keyboard. I purchased my laptop without physically seeing it at the store on display. When i opened up the box and saw the keyboard buttons (grey with white fonts) i new i would struggle to see keyboard during use,that's exactly what happened. My old laptop was a HP as well but it had Black buttons and white fonts. So much better to see than the new Laptop. Why change? Just my opinion. Thanks
