Why INC instead of Alfani?

Nice slacks, unfortunately, INC's sizing is different than Alfani's.The same Petite 12 's waist band is nearly about 1 & 1/2 " narrower than the Alfani slacks I own. The elastic band is not continuous in the INC slacks, as it is in the Alfani, it is interrupted interrupted with a side seam, this makes it more rigid.To my disappointment I had to return "MY NEW FAVORITE Brand"as the Macy's website calls INC.

Too long

I ordered size 8 petite. Slacks fit fine but the length is about 4” too long. Thought about taking them in to get shortened but shouldn’t have to. Returning them.
