Flaws in comforter, shams too small.

Lovely comforter set however there are several flaws in the white area of the comforter. Pink threading is in several different places, approximately 2-3 inches long in each area. I wanted white. The shams are pretty but very narrow and small, therefore, my pillows are scrunched up in them creating my pillows too high and very uncomfortable. I cannot use the shams except for decorative pillows. I can only give this comforter set three stars because of the flaws and shams issues. I bought this set at a great sale price so not sure if I will go through the return hassle or not.
