Avoid Britbag by IT Luggage Wheel Fell Off

I am extremely disappointed with my new Britbag suitcase from IT Luggage. It’s very similar to the one.I purchased it from Macy's in April, and on its very first trip, as I was gently pulling it onto an escalator, one of the wheels completely came off. This is unacceptable for a suitcase claiming to be durable. Even more frustrating is IT Luggage's customer service response. Despite their advertised 10-year warranty, they denied my claim, stating I 'mishandled' the bag and that it was 'accidental damage.' This response feels like an excuse to avoid honoring their warranty. Upon researching online, particularly on IT Luggage's own Facebook page, I've found numerous accounts from other customers detailing identical issues – wheels breaking on initial uses, and similar denials of valid warranty claims. This suggests a pattern of manufacturing defects and poor customer support, not isolated 'mishandling.' I strongly advise caution to anyone considering purchasing one.
