Needs a safer more secure fastener and or closure

"The clasp of the bracelet features sharply pointed ends on both sides, which have resulted in surface scratches, instances of it becoming entangled with various materials, and unintended openings when resting the arm against hard surfaces."

dont buy

terrible customer service, clasp was faulty. kpt falling off first time wearing it, macys took no responsibility. i would think twice before spending money on fine jewelry at macys.

I bought this bracelet twice because I liked it a lot. but I could have returned one because the other in the day I put it on the clasp broke and it fell off and one part of it bent... I couldn't wear it again. so I only wore it for an hour and couldn't wear it again.. the good thing is that I saw it when it fell.. and I was able to pick it up. I don't know what to do with it because it's bend and doesn't close...

It was very thin metal and not quite what I thought it would be for the price. I returned it.

adorable and affordable bracelet

I love it. True the clasp can easily be opened. Add a safety pin and that will hold everything.

DO NOT BUY THIS FRAGILE BRACELET!!!

This bracelet is extremely beautiful but poorly made. I lost it at work the first day I wore it, but fortunately found it after retracing my steps! The first problem is with the top clasp, and it will not maintain the security needed for such an expensive purchase. Since I was past the return period, I added a clasp for additional cost, but even that did not resolve my issue with this bracelet. I have since had one of the small links to break off, and the main locking box clasp to come loose and bend, making that part of the bracelet hard to lock. These problems will cost additional money to get it repaired again, and limit how much I wear the bracelet because it is just too fragile. In the meantime, I purchased a similar bracelet from another company, and I have not had one problem with the box clasp or locking mechanisms on it. It's the same with others I have worn daily for years. With that said, Macy's need to admit that they are carrying an inferior product and stop selling it.
