"Red Shoes" is the name of a 1948 ballet movie for which Jacques Fath designed the fabulous costumes of the prima ballerina. In 1950, Fath designed for the Fall Collection a sumptuous red silky dress with the same name, worn by model Bettina, photographed by Irving Penn for U.S. Vogue. This fragrance features a sparkling opening with uplifting aldehydes notes, very diffusing. Blackcurrant and red berries add warmth to this first fresh sensation. The blue ginger and pink pepper evoke the cold and metallic colors of the silky and satiny dress. A fragrance with a silky effect, illustrating both femininity and sensuality.
