It did work
Had for around 2 years isn't that loud but the size kind of excused it and battery only last a few hours in reality unless you have music whispering. Fairly sturdy build handles ya bumps and knocks without to much of a problem however as of now it won't hold charge and has to be on life support (plugged in) to work. All round decent speaker but yea if it doesn't work can't get much higher stars.

JBL extreme 3 poor sound
I’ve had this for two weeks and very disappointed, I upgraded from my JBL charge 5 to a extrem 3 and the sound is very poor for its size, the extreme 3 is double the size, so how can the charge 5 sound better! Very poor indeed !

Rubbish battery life
Brand new out the box I charged it to 100%i played it at half volume and it lasted 4 Hours .

Please try these troubleshooting steps which may be helpful in solving the charging issue: Step 1. Test another adapter and cable. Make sure that the specifications are the same as those reflected in the product manual. Step 2. Charge the product for 8 hours. Step 3. Try other electrical outlets at your location to be certain it is not a local wiring issue. Step 4. When you plug the charging cable into the speaker, is the connector stable? If it can be wiggled, this could indicate that the charging port has been damaged. Sometimes wiggling the connection restores charging power. Great speaker, good price.
Ive had it for a few days, its not even broken in yet but its starting to sound better and better, cant wait to hear the full potential of this speaker. Ive always loved jbl. I had a charge 4 before, this is by far the best jbl ive had and ive owned a jbl partybox ultimate

Average sound quality. I miss my Panasonic Platinu
Just received the speaker today. I don’t get it. It doesn’t connect party mode with the Extreme 2 as I was led to believe. The sound isn’t anything mind blowing. It’s alright. A bit over priced for the quality.

Thank you for your feedback. Our JBL Xtreme 3 is not compatible with our JBL Xtreme 2. Our JBL Xtreme 3 features JBL PartyBoost, while our JBL Xtreme 2 uses JBL Connect+. Please note that speakers with the same connectivity features can be connected.

Jbl kicks it! INDOORS OR OUTDOORS! It fills up the house and the patio. We used it for our wedding reception!
